This notice covers personal information handled by SereLex Ltd through its website and its sales, distribution, assessment and customer-support activities in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

SereLex Ltd is the principal distributor of the iCHASE AI Bird Repeller System in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It may appoint authorised sub-distributors where appropriate.

02 · Information we collect

Information needed to assess, supply and support a site.

Depending on your enquiry or relationship with us, we may collect:

  • Your name, job title, employer and business contact details.
  • Site addresses, delivery details and billing information.
  • Information about the bird issue, target species, site layout and operational requirements.
  • Photographs, plans or other material you provide for a site assessment.
  • Quotations, orders, payment records, warranties and support correspondence.
  • Records of meetings, calls, events and legitimate business-development contact.
  • Basic technical information generated when you visit our website, where supplied by our hosting or embedded-content providers.

Please avoid sending personal information that is not relevant to the assessment or service.

03 · Purposes and lawful bases

We use information for defined business purposes.

Enquiries and site assessmentsTo respond, assess suitability and prepare a quotation. We rely on steps taken at your request before a contract and our legitimate interests in managing genuine business enquiries.
Orders, delivery and supportTo supply products, administer warranties, provide support and manage the customer relationship. We rely on contract performance and legitimate interests.
Accounts and complianceTo keep financial, tax, product and business records and deal with disputes. We rely on legal obligations and legitimate interests.
Relevant business communicationsTo contact business customers and prospects about closely related products, demonstrations or events where permitted. We rely on legitimate interests or consent where the law requires it. You can object at any time.

04 · Sharing

We share only where necessary.

Information may be shared with professional advisers, payment and accounting providers, delivery companies, website and email providers, insurers, regulators and public authorities where required. We may also share relevant enquiry or customer details with an authorised SereLex sub-distributor where this is necessary to respond locally, prepare a quotation, arrange supply or provide support.

We require service providers acting on our behalf to protect personal information and use it only for the agreed purpose. We do not sell personal information.

Separate iCHASE services: this notice covers SereLex’s own activities. Information processed through an iCHASE account, dashboard, camera or cloud service is subject to the roles, terms and privacy information applicable to that service and the customer operating it.

05 · Retention

We do not keep information indefinitely.

  • Unsuccessful enquiries and associated site-assessment material are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact.
  • Customer, order, invoice, warranty and transaction records are normally retained for up to seven years after the relevant transaction or relationship ends where needed for tax, legal or contractual purposes.
  • Business-marketing records are retained until you opt out or the details are no longer considered current and relevant.
  • Information may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for a legal claim, investigation or regulatory requirement.

06 · Your rights

You remain in control of your personal information.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information; object to certain processing; obtain portable information; and withdraw consent where consent is used. These rights are not absolute and lawful exemptions may apply.

We do not use SereLex website-enquiry information to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

07 · Website and embedded content

Third-party services may receive technical data.

Our website may use essential technologies needed to deliver and secure its pages. The YouTube demonstration is not loaded until you choose to play it. When you do so, YouTube may receive information such as your IP address, device information and viewing activity and may use cookies or similar storage under its own terms.

You can avoid this third-party connection by not loading the embedded video. Your browser settings may also allow you to block or delete cookies.

To exercise a right or ask how your information is used, email info@serelex.co.uk or write to the registered office above. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office ↗. If EU data-protection law applies to the handling of your information in the Republic of Ireland, you may also contact the Irish Data Protection Commission ↗.
